At the top of the capital
At the highest peak of Paris, a district perched in the skies, adorned with its cobbled streets, its amazing basilica, its artists, its bistros ...! The most famous Parisian district has lost nothing of the village which pleased artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. A veritable melting pot of art and a source of inspiration for cinema, Montmartre always delights those who take the day to visit this magnificent haven of peace.
As a couple or with friends, you can cultivate yourself in its museums, admire the view from the top of the Sacred Heart and follow in the footsteps of Amélie Poulain.
If you are looking for a corner of nature, Montmartre will amaze you with its many gardens and… its vine in terraces! Planted in 1930 north of the famous hill, they perpetuate the memory of a rural district in the heart of the capital. On the occasion of the Harvest Festival, Montmartre becomes a place for wine tasting, a warm moment to spend with friends or lovers.
Almost 2 centuries ago, the Butte Montmartre had a completely different face than today and a dozen mills stood there. Two are still standing, the Radet mill and the Galette mill, both participating in the romanticism of the neighborhood.
